Amazon Hunter 2 is a software program designed as a companion tool for the popular Day Job Killer ebook. It was designed for use with a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Amazon ad campaign in order to capture targeted traffic for the Amazon affiliate products advertised on search engine pay-per-click platforms. As such, this software program has been customed designed to assist in this, making the process of setting up a PPC campaign (especially in Google Adwords) easier and less work intensive for the user. And to this extent it has succeeded admirably.

However, it should be noted that you do not need to purchase the Day Job Killer ebook in order to use and benefit from Amazon Hunter 2. The program is an excellent stand-alone product that you can use all by itself to find good products to promote either using a PPC campaign or using some sort of organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) methods with your own website.

Rather than being limited by the products available in just one country for your ad campaigns, Amazon Hunter 2 has incorporated its usage with the Amazon websites in five different countries: the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and France. It allows you to search for and include products on any of these country's websites so you can find just the right product to promote to that audience. You can target an ad campaign to any one of these countries, or to all five if you wish. This allows you to branch out from the over exploited US market into other less saturated markets where the competition is significantly less.

Don't worry about translating your ads into a foreign language. Setting up your Amazon PPC campaign ads in the French or German languages is a snap, as the software is programmed to automatically generate the appropriate ads in the correct language for you. For example, it is possible to create an ad in German in about fifteen minutes. You don’t need to know the German language at all. Amazon Hunter 2 does, and it creates a simple version of your ad which includes your keyphrase, the product amount, a call to action, and, of course, your unique Amazon affiliate link already imbedded.

One very important thing to be aware of if you plan to promote in a country different than your own. Amazon uses separate affiliate programs for each of the five countries that Amazon Hunter 2 targets. You will need to create a separate affiliate account for each one if you decide to prospect outside of your geographic area. Also, remember to specify the country and language you’re targeting in your Google Adwords campaign. No point in sending a German ad to the American Google.

With Amazon Hunter 2 you will be able to locate the best Amazon products to promote through Google Adwords. One of the features included in this software is the ability to select any product of your choice based on price and commission. This way you are able to find and target high income producing products without wasting a lot of time. While searching through Amazon's voluminous products pages used to be a tedious and boring process, Amazon Hunter 2 helps speed up this research, even allowing you to see the competition you'll be up against for any given product you target. Click on the “Check Competition” start button and sit back. A few moments later (depending upon the number of products you’re researching) the number of Google Adwords ads for each product will be displayed. From here it’s only a matter of selecting which products have little or no competition and creating your ad groups.

The drawback to pursuing a PPC campaign using this software, for those who are new to Google Adwords and other search engine pay-per-click programs, is the learning curve you will need to complete in order to be able to set up a profitable Amazon PPC campaign. Google has an elaborate algorithm set up in its pay-per-click program that penalizes or rewards the person based upon the CTR (click-through-rate) and other such parameters. In order to be in profit using Google's Adwords, you would need to know how to adjust your campaigns accordingly in order to gain the most benefit using Google's PPC program. Unfortunately, the Amazon Hunter 2 program does not provide any information that will help you in this endeavor. You will need to seek such information from another source.

Another thing to take into consideration is that the cookie which Amazon places in the prospect's browser is limited in its shelf life, usually only to 24 hours before it disappears. This doesn't really help affiliates in their efforts to make a decent income using the Amazon affiliate program. What happens in the event that a person comes back in a few days and purchases the product. Unless that person clicks on the affiliate's link, the affiliate is not credited with the commission sale! And with a 4% to 8% commission structure, the Amazon affiliate program is not a very affiliate-friendly program to begin with.

In order to make a living, a person would need to sell dozens of products a day just to make a decent return on their promotional efforts. We therefore have our reservations about the effectiveness of the business model that this software targets, as it may be useful and profitable to a certain type of experienced marketer, whereas for the inexperienced marketer it may be a waste of time and money.
